In 2023, I went through a series of health issues that led me to visit various doctors over the course of several months after an undiagnosed medical episode. No one was able to provide clear answers or identify the root cause. Shortly after, I began noticing that nothing was working for my child’s eczema flare-ups, which led me to start paying closer attention to the products I was using on her skin. What I discovered was concerning: that many contained ingredients I would never knowingly choose, especially for sensitive skin. That realization prompted me to take a closer look at the products my husband and I were using as well.

My research and studies exposed how many toxins we are unknowingly exposed to, as well as the loopholes within skincare regulations that allow companies to include potentially harmful ingredients without clear consumer awareness.

Feeling a strong need to control what I could regarding what was affecting me and my family’s health, I made several lifestyle changes, including switching to non-toxic and low-toxicity products throughout our home.

With an already long-standing interest in natural remedies and herbal care, I decided to challenge myself and began handcrafting skincare at home. Since the skin is the largest organ in the human body, I started by creating a healing body butter for my child using specific butters and infused oils to support her eczema-prone skin. I wanted to know exactly what was going on our skin and create products made with intention and care, tailored to my family’s needs.

As I immersed myself in the natural skincare world, I felt a growing conviction that God was calling me into this space, which had already become a way to care for my family and was now expanding into a way to serve others.

I desire to give Jesus Christ the glory and reflect His love through my work to the best of my ability. I have always had a heart for helping people feel valued and cared for, and that is what I pour into every product I create.
