What is the shelf life of our products?
Because our body butter formulations are anhydrous (meaning they do not contain water), they have a shelf life of about 12 months. Our face oil also has a shelf life of about 18 months because of its antioxidant properties.
What is wrong with “Fragrance” in body products?
Many fragrances contain numerous compounds that may be known allergens. While some fragrances have natural origins, Revive Skin Co. uses naturally derived fragrances and essential oils to scent its products. A concern with conventional fragrances is that manufacturers can legally list multiple ingredients under the single term “fragrance,” which limits full transparency. Some fragrance formulations may also contain parabens and phthalates. Parabens are preservatives used to help extend shelf life and maintain stability; however, some types are controversial due to potential hormone-related concerns. Phthalates are used to improve fragrance longevity and stability, but are often avoided due to similar concerns. At Revive Skin Co., we are committed to clean, low-toxicity formulations and prioritizing the health, safety, and confidence of our customers. We believe in full ingredient transparency and will always list every ingredient used in our products.
Why Essential Oils?
Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts that contain naturally occurring compounds such as terpenes, alcohols, and esters. These compounds can contribute functional properties in topical formulations, including mild antimicrobial activity, antioxidant effects, and skin-soothing characteristics, depending on the specific oil used. At Revive Skin Co., essential oils are incorporated at low, dermal-safe usage rates consistent with cosmetic formulation guidelines and standard industry dilution practices for leave-on products. Each batch is carefully measured and blended to maintain consistent concentration, stability, and safety.
While essential oils contribute to the overall scent profile of a product, their inclusion is primarily based on their functional and compositional properties at appropriate levels of use for our customers so that the benefits are truly skin deep.
Why did your body butter harden?
Body butter can harden or become firmer over time due to the natural physical properties of its ingredients. Mango butter contains a high percentage of saturated fatty acids, which gives it a naturally solid structure at room temperature. Beeswax also contributes to firmness because it has a high melting point and helps stabilize the overall formulation. Since we use whipping to mix our butter creams, air is incorporated into the mixture to create a lighter texture. However, as the product sits, temperature changes and the natural crystallization of the butters can cause it to become more solid or slightly denser. This is a normal behavior for anhydrous (water-free) products and does not affect product quality or performance.
When is the best time to apply the face oil?
We recommend applying face oil as one of the final step in your skincare routine, after serums and moisturizer. This allows the oil to act as an occlusive layer, helping to lock in hydration and the active ingredients from your previous steps.
If you use serums, apply them first and allow them to fully absorb before layering your moisturizer and then the face oil on top. If you do not use serums, apply the face oil after cleansing and moisturizing to help seal in moisture.
For best results, use the oil on slightly damp skin, as this can help improve absorption and enhance hydration. Consistent use, especially in your nighttime routine, can help support a smoother, more nourished skin barrier over time.
What is our return or refund policy?
At Revive Skin Co., we take pride in the quality and care that goes into each product. Due to the nature of our skincare products, all sales are final, and we do not accept returns on used items for hygiene and safety reasons.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@reviveskinco.com with your order number and photos of the issue. We will gladly offer a replacement or refund where applicable.
For unopened and unused items, we may accept returns within 14 days of delivery. Items must be in their original condition and packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be issued to your original form of payment. Please allow 5–10 business days for processing.
Because our products are made with natural ingredients, variations in texture, color, or scent may occur. These are normal and not considered defects.

Are our fragrances natural or synthetic?
All of our essential oils are carefully vetted for purity, quality, and ethical sourcing from trusted suppliers. We use naturally derived fragrances and essential oils to scent our products, selected specifically for their ingredient integrity and compatibility with skincare formulations.
Our fragrance components are chosen to be free from parabens, phthalates, and other commonly avoided synthetic additives. Each oil and fragrance ingredient is evaluated for safety, stability, and proper usage levels in leave-on body care products.
This approach allows us to maintain a clean formulation standard while still delivering a consistent and pleasant scent experience across each batch.
Do our products contain preservatives, parabens, or synthetic fragrances?
